THE GREAT HEBDEN PAINT-OFF
There have now been two earthquakes in Nepal. The death toll has reached 8,00 and even more have been left without homes
Tomorrow, Saturday 30th May from 11am to 4pm at Salem Field, in Hebden Bridge, there will be a messy game of paint-tig to help raise money for those affected. Salem Field is in Hebden Bridge, approximately 5 minutes walk from the Town Centre.
There will be face painting, mask making and stalls to browse.
£2 entry to the paint fight.
NB Waterproof ponchos are available but wear old clothes
Is a sponsored meditation being held at the Calderdale Yoga Centre from 21:30 Saturday 6th June until 04:30 Sunday 7th June. The author will be sitting from 02:30 until 04:30.
The object of the meditation event is to raise money and to send love and healing to all those affected by the disasters in Nepal.
You don’t have to stay all night, just bring your goodwill and your open heart. Drinks, light refreshments and blankets will be available to sustain you!
All proceeds to the Disasters Emergencies Committee.
