We have written about the massively talented local carving folk called Sand in Your Eye who create the most amazing Sculptures from Sand. Well now they have turned their hands to Pumpkins and there have been Pumpkin related events all week. Both Silly Billy’s Toy shop and Homely at Hebden have had bespoke Pumpkins carved by a local artist, Sally, images below.
Yesterday morning The Sand in Your Eye folk were busy preparing and carving Pumpkins in the square in Hebden Bridge, ready for Sunday’s (tomorrow’s) mammoth day of Pumpkin related events, and throughout the day you can walk around Hebden Bridge on the pumpkin trail. Spotting displays from Sand in Your Eye and fab window displays in shops, cafes, bars, and community groups!
There will be music from Hebden Radio and Oxjam all through the day, face painting, stalls and much more. So come to Hebden Bridge and visit Silly Billy’s Toy Shop and Homely at Hebden in Old Gate, HX7 6EN
